There are French components, but the car is from another country.

European

No. The car is supposed to be from a country outside Europe. Some people think it is actually just a re-named car from Europe, but I know that the company after which the car is named definitely sent cars to Europe to race, and I prefer to call it by the name under which it raced.

That's correct - another point to you.

Anasagasti cars were powered by French Picker-Janvier engines and cars were raced at the 1912 Coupe de l'Auto under the French company's name. Some historians think the 1913 cars are the same ones entered under another name, but South American websites confirm that Anasagasti sent cars to race in Europe at this time, and indeed one of them raced at Brooklands in 1914, presumably left behind to save the cost of shipping across the Atlantic. It does seem a long way to travel for one race!
