Wikipedia describes the connection to Bertone, that's why I could shit smart.

Michelotti took up work (about 1950-1953) for Bertone, while the coachbuilding-world changed completely with the presentation of the new Fiat 1400 with its self-supporting bodywork. In 1952 Franco Scaglione followed Giovanni Michelotti at Bertone.
