That's what it is, yes.
I'm not really sure the Corsair was almost a Cortina though.
I seem to recall they had different (V4) engines as well as a different body with very few shared parts!

I did not mean that literally. Just an idea and inspiration.
BTW first Corsairs used the same inline 4 as Cortinas. V4 were a bit later and I think this protoype was powered by Cortina engine too. Maybe also shared some other parts.
