This is HKU 20, a Buckler Mark V of 1951, presumably with the proud owner, W.D. Binns, at the wheel. The body was built by Versil Ltd. of Rayner Mills in Liversedge, Yorkshire, and may well have been the first British built fibreglass (GRP) car body. The company specialised in insulation materials. A few years later, the car acquired a Shirley fibreglass shell, but I cannot find if the original body or chassis has survived.
