Early 1980s Bertone style. Was it from Bertone?

Bertone is right, yes, but not 1980s.

If I interpret the information from this forum correctly (https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2016-45/neh-4929/), then it must be a design proposal from 1979 for Renault's project 140, the R5 "Supercinq".
Unfortunately I did not find any exact information about who the designer was. It was around the time when Marc Deschamps moved from Renault to Bertone. I don't know whether this design was still an internal Renault design or already dates from his time at Bertone.

Yes, that's what it is.
It was by Marc Deschamps but since I have the design as dated June 1978 he must still have been working at Renault; I wasn't sure when he moved to Bertone so maybe I was wrong when I said it was a Bertone design!
It's a point for you anyway;well done.

In a well-known book about small Renaults it's described as an in-house proposal designed by Marc Deschamps in 1978. No Bertone involvement.

Thanks.
I thought that might be the case.
