It looks like you've all rather jumped the gun here as this is actually called Nellie and based on a 602cc, two-cylinder Citroen Dyane!

Only joking :D!  Yes, of course this is the Boudica, the second 'special' built by Terry Pine in the late-1970s, this giant machine using a Leyland truck-derived 10-litre Trojan V8. Although Trojan ceased vehicle production in the late 1950s, the marque was revived in the 1960s to produce ex-Heinkel bubble cars and it also acquired Elva (building late Couriors), with direct links to McLaren as well.

Anyway, a point to Neilshouse, and here's a colour photo of this beast.

Don't forget the van was chassisless so they could stretch it at will; or fit it on some other chassis!

Yes, sorry; I should have said they ceased commercial vehicle production in 1959.
I didn't think Boudica was based on either a bubble-car or a racing car!
