I don't know a vast amount about this, just what it is, so to make it a bit more of an AutoPuzzle I'll need to know where it was registered (and I don't mean just the country!) and what its registration number is for the point:
Remember - solving puzzles using 'Google Search by Image' is BANNED on AutoPuzzles!

I don't know who buit it, sorry.
Note that I've changed my reply to FrontMan's post...

New South Wales?
-
Not NSW..
-
....er, Queensland?
-
Not Queensland..
But I naively thought someone would identify the plate by finding the car and researching its origin, rather than just by going through all the different issuing authorities!
So I've decided to move the goalposts a bit and actually ask for the letters/numbers on the plate to gain the point! Sorry.

Well found!
Now that you've found the registration number and who built the car it should be easy answer the one remaining question asked: where was the car registered?
Locked for you.

Northern Territory (Car was built in Western Australia, but those are NT plates.)
-
That's right, yes.
I don't fully understand it that the car was built in Fremantle yet it has Northern Territory plates..
Maybe the brothers moved location and took the car with them!
This style of plate was issued from 1954 on.
You've earned your point now!

Thanks for the point!
