Experts?

Is it a british one-off?
-
It is British but I don't think it was actually meant to be a one-off, though I doubt if many more than 1 were ever made!
-
was it built in London, late 1940s?
-
I don't know where it was built, but it wasn't in the 1940s..
-
Was it between 1950-53?
-
Yes - 1951!
-
Is it the Whittet,1951 P.A.Whittet,Lightwater,Surrey,United Kingdom,do know of more info or pictures?
-
That's the car, yes!
If you have more pics I'd love to see them.
Can you post them?
-
I couldn,t find anything further about this car,Sorry :(
-
You did well to find it at all, especially so quickly.
I'd never ever heard of the car until I found it to post and it seems this is the only picture of it anywhere on the World Wide Web!
-
Thanks Carnut!

I have found the original advert for this car - in the same issue of the magazine was another advert for Whittet Engineering who were agents for Wade superchargers . Their premises were in the same town of Lightwater.

Whittet was in the partnership Cowell and Whittet, with Bob Cowell, in the 1940s. That company is sometimes named by mistake when the later Cowell and Watson is intended.
