Fëdor: it has already been said that the coachbuilder is not known for other cars so it can't be a known one, it has to be (very) obscure.

Was this Hispano's coachwork created by Carrosserie Brandone?

Is it just me, or does that door look exactly like those on the Jonckheere Rolls (1936 Concours d'Elegance de Cannes "Grand-Prix d'Honneur" winner), sans the arc over the windows?

That should be 2 points for such a difficult puzzle. Very nicely found!

I believe the coachbuilder is Dante Baudena

Alain Baudena, well known in Argentina for building car bodies mainly racing cars, was of Italian descent, his grandfather , Dante Baudena, had been one of the first two foremen in charge of panel beating at FIAT in Italy, the other was Battista Farina (Pinninfarina). He moved to France for political reasons, there his son Dante, who started the coachbuilding tradition, was born and in 1938 his grandson Alain. In the 1950’s Alain’s family moves to Uruguay, where his father worked for different coachbuilders until starting his own company Paris-Niza, the first to build steel bodies in Uruguay. In 1959 they move to Buenos Aires to start a coachbuilding company. Later in partnership with Ramón Febrer, Baufer (Baudena-Febrer) was born, they made bodies for Jeep, Chevrolet, Ford and Studebaker pickups.
