according to my source,it started out in 1971 as a vw van,the entire body was made of fiberglass/urethane foam.the van was named and built by tom cyr,it had a six cylinder engine and automatic transmission.this van could be converted into different functions like a camper and etc.the name given was phoenix 2.

Yes, you're right.  The corvair engine is a flat-six boxer piston engine.
