Siata is right, but there's a lot more to it than that.

It's not a 208 and it's not by Stabilimenti Farina...

Strange as on the website I found (with the same picture as the one  on this  puzzle)it says it's a 208  but by carrozzeria Balbo
A 208 barchetta from 1953.  Note the different grille pattern, the air vent on the front fender and the chromed patch on the rear fender.

Yes, I've seen that but it's wrong as well; there's an awful lot of rubbish out there on the 'net and you can't believe much that you read about cars...
You're going to have to look further into it.

That's the right car, but the year is quite a way out..
Also what powered it?

Road and Track says 1955, but it is 1953 instead, engine in Chrysler V-8

Yes, it was actually built on a 1952 2000 CS chassis, S/N 0025.
A few of these Siatas were powered by Chrysler V8s for the US market, but they were nearly all coupés.
This particular Bertone-bodied car was a one-off.
