Carlo Marazzi set up his own Carrozzeria in 1950 after gaining his experience at Touring and Zagato. In 1962 the company was re-organised into Carrozzerria Marazzi srl and expanded with the help of Carlo's sons Mario and Nino (Serafino) when Touring closed in 1965 and they persuaded Lamborghini to give them the contract for the design and manufacture of bodies for the Islero and Jarama, amongst many other jobs. The crisis in the coachbuilding industry in the 1970s forced them to change the business to the manufacture of public service vehicles and funeral cars, but they do still exist and make the occasional concept car.
