What's this and who bodied it - for 1 point?:
Remember - solving puzzles using 'Google Search by Image' is BANNED on AutoPuzzles!

From Europe ?

This is a Lancia Aprilia Turned sports car and named ‘Sport 1500’ by Offincia Specializzata Auto. Made in 1953. One hell of a rare gem!
-
Yes, well found.
Just one question to answer now: who bodied it?
Locked for you to dig into.
-
How long is it locked?

How long is it locked?
I'll have to leave it with him for a few days.
He last logged on late on Monday night so I only saw his reply yesterday morning.
He's at school so doesn't get logging on much apart from at weekends!

Yes, its completely legal in america for 15 year olds to do a quick one wherever I can ;D
As for who bodied it, iit was Ernesto Accadia. Son of the creator of OSA.

Actually that's not who I have as the coachbuilder.
When I get home next week I'll look further into it to make sure I have the right name.
The pulzzle remains locked for ChanceHuncha!

If its not Ernesto its probably his Father Agostino Accadia. I just know that Ernesto had done some work to it some time in 2015.
-
No, it was Ernesto, you're right.
I was actually looking for Morelli, because like you I mistakenly thought the car was built in 1953 (because that's what it says!) but it's actually an evocation of the kind of Lancia built by Morelli, who went out of business in 1965, long before this evocation was built.
Here are more pictures of it:

This one was built & bodied by my friend Giancarlo Manfredi and finished in 2017.
As usual, after the work was done, the car arrived to his customer and the new (old) story was ready.
-
Thanks.
So it's nothing to do with Ernesto Accadia?!

Riccardo Grasso is the man behind this project. Manfredi did all the work. Accadia is a known name and the story goes Riccardo, with the help of Accadia junior created a replica of one of Accadia senior sport car. Truth is Accadia and OSA never made such a car (to the best of my knowledge) and they just needed a name & story for this nice (but totally new and not storic at all) barchetta. Manfredi told me nothing about that, he just talks about his work and how he realized it...not why, for whom and what story they would have created for it.
