Fellow Autopuzzlers, for a point please identify this racing car.

This is a self-driving prototype made by Roborace around 2016. Sadly, it crashed. Which meant back to the drawing boards on the self driving racer.

Indeed it's by Roborace. Locked for you to provide the model name that was given to this prototype.
BTW, I don't think last year's crash was back to the drawing board, just a minor and predictable stumble in the development process of these cars, from which the engineers also obtained useful data; this year, testing continues using the futuristic Daniel Simon body design, and recently one of them completed a hillclimb at Goodwood.

The name for this particular Roborace in the photo was Devbot 1. This one was the one that completed the track successfully, while Devbot 2 (which was yellow) did end up in a crash.

I did also see the new Roborace do the Goodwood Hill Climb and I have to say it is quite funny how it sounds like an actual toy RC Car! It's pretty much a lifesize version of every childs dream! But other than that Ii's a pretty amazing to believe there's  an upcoming Roborace Championship where teams with have their own Roborace cars to battle it out on the track!

Devbot was the name I was looking for. The point is yours!
