Hey everyone. Here's one I saw that seems to be a mystery. This is a custom car I saw recently, But I cant find out who made it. So I'm going to have this one up to hopefully discuss around and eventually find a builder.

NOTE: I do not know the answer. Therefore I may not be able to answer all questions. But hopefully we can all help eachother out.

So with that. Good Luck!

looks like a George barris custom car?

ChanceHuncha

Sure looks like it could have been one, Have not seen anything about this one on his website however...

This could be the same car, possibly a Darryl Starbird creation.

Definitely looks like the Darryl Starbird Marvel Machine, based on a 1972 Pantera.

In its current form, the car may be named "Le Pantera".  I just found a PDF file online telling the whole story.

I dunno, the Marvel Machine looks a bit longer that the car in question. I also noticed that there is a little flap on the skirts of the Marvel Machine. Due to the quality of the puzzle photo, I cant tell if here is one or not. It is possible that the Pantera was remodled to have that. But I can't be sure because I have no photo evidence. Have you seen if there were any pictures or quotes relating to the 'early stages' of the Marvel Machine possibly? Maybe that would give me enough info to declare its authenticity.

After being shown some evidence, and looking over, Cuda has solved it! It is indeed the Marvel Machine. An earlier version of the newer 'La Pantera' Points go to Cuda and neilshouse for helping solve it. Thanks guys!

Pictures of the Marvel Machine:

(Source document included reversed images of the car.  I managed to download the complete file, and have extracted and mirrored the images.)

Thank you, ChanceHuncha, for bringing this unusual custom to light.
