« on: January 08, 2019, 03:10:25 PM »
I'm surprised this hasn't featured before (or else my searching skills are at fault)
Car maker and engine for a point.

Edit:  I think it may have been featured before.

No interest from the Rookies, so it's up to the experts.

A bonus point if anyone can name the mountain in the background.

Originally equipped with a Ford 1172 cc motor, but equipped with a Climax (1475 cc?) at the time of your photo.

Yes that's right.  I don't know which engine it had at the time of the photo.  I also didn't know it was a Mk2 so I thought that it might be the same car as this https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2017-47/nic760/msg431542/#msg431542

Anyway that's 2 points for you

To explain the Menengai Crater reference: the photo was taken at Nakuru Park race track in Kenya  and Menengai dominates the town.
