I think everyone on this site would rather have incorrect guesses than nobody answering anything! Sorry, but I'm afraid it's not an Alvis, but just to give you a break, it is British!

(BTW congratulations on the success of your compatriots at the World Athletics Championships. Well deserved.)

I'm not much good at this since leaving Rookiehood, but I'll take a stab at an Austin Light 12/6.

You're very close and earn a LOCK. It's an Austin but not that model - what is the engine size and what was the model name?

I'll keep it locked for 24 hours.

....10/4 Sports?

You're getting there. It is a 10/4 but Austin often had model names for their more individual cars, usually based on British place names. Still locked for you to tell me the name of this car.

Once you have left Rookiehood, you may probably, as I have found out, how little you really know... ;) :D

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

It is indeed. Not too difficult to find so FrontMan loses out this time.

Well found D-type. Here's a front view which would have been a lot easier for identification.
