How odd to have the name of the vehicle so predominantly displayed on a hearse. I'm pretty sure that the mourners wouldn't be in a state of mind to give a sniff about in what sort of car their loved one was being driven to their resting place. Come to think about it, neither would the person in the back...

I'm sure the car's name in the rear side window was applied by its current owner, when it wasn't used as a hearse anymore.

The other car picture is related to another car. It has the same stickers at the sides, but different sticker in the rear window and different car plate

It is the same car with the same number plate, just without the H for historic car. You can register your car as historic in Germany, if it is older than 30 years and in good and historically correct condition. Then you just have to pay a standardized vehicle tax regardless of the engine size, and you have access to environmentally restricted city areas without fulfilling emission norms.
