Rollo Ver and his car fitted with the hoops he invented.
Peugeot 1926 by André Mercier ?
For a really great "looping the loop,” Mr. Mercier, owner of Garage Maubeuge in Paris, has prepared a small 5 HP Peugeot torpedo. He has connected the car with a strong metal frame, so that its treads are mounted perpendicular to the frame length. Care is taken that the main components, such as radiator, steering and suspension are protected by the scaffold. Mercier lets the car run at full speed. Once it reaches a pace of about 60 kilometers per hour, he brusquely turns the front wheels. The vehicle rolls over for two or three rotations, returns to an upright position, and continues on.
