There is obviously a strong resemblance between this and the Gatso 1500 Sport,
but no - there is no relation.

Acoording to my source it started in the 1500ccm class, so I still doubt it was 328-based.

However Neumeier and BMW is enough to arward you this point at rookie level.

Can you confirm your 328 guess?

I think the driver's name was Willi Spindler, not Schindler.
