That's right! You get the point.
According to CBC it was actually launched in 1996 and discontinued in 1999, with the last units being sold in 2000. Total production according to Bombardier was around 10,000 units.

No, it is the same company! They make a lot of different things, from snowmobiles to jet airliners. Maybe you know the Can-Am Spyder three-wheelers? They make those too.
