First guess would be a Bentley Mk VI with Harold Radford Countryman bodywork, but maybe too obvious;  I vaguely remember something similar from one of thw Swiss (?) coachbuilders.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

It is in fact a Bentley Mk VI, but neither Radford nor Swiss bodywork. Anyway locked for you.

Unlock, I've not going to get this one  - a strict two-hour limit on any search otherwise I don't get any work done. So, an RHD Bentley MK VI shooting brake not by Radford but very much in the style of - no reason to imagine it is by Rippon whose brakes were very different; the chauffeur's uniform doesn't look English; I don't think there's any clue in the golf clubs . . . As I said, I unexpectedly came across something similar a few months back on an Autopuzzes-unrelated search for something completely different, very unexpected but not what I was looking for, so not remembered. I later thought it might have been Kong or Glaser (but it wasn't) or Scandinavian or East European . . . and then half the day goes and I'm no forther forward.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

Can we take it that the body isn't British?

Seary & McReady of London.
I think I should mention that coachbuilder Seary & McReady actually did the Countryman bodies for Harold Radford. Radford eventually purchased a controlling interest in S&M, moved the shop to Ealing, and renamed it "Harold Radford Coachbuilders Ltd."

Looks like one of Harold Radford's Bentley Countrymans.

Yes, Bentley Countryman is correct. But not 'Harold Radford'

That makes me confused. Absolutely Radford's style.

You are doubtless right... Big hint: There is a (very strong) connection with 'Harold Radford',...as 'Harold Radford' commissioned the company I am looking for to build this car...

Commissioned by Harold Radcliffe but built by Seary and McReady. I fear we have had this before, but I didn't get the point as I didn't say Seary and McReady . . .
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

Oh dear! Yes! Shame on me. Didn't check 'AutoPuzzles' accurately enough, before posting this puzzle.
You are correct , of course. All details are mentioned with the previous puzzle: 2019 / Re: Wendax 2843
Sorry! One more point for 'Lavrakas'
