No. It's a brand new (then) Lada on it's own chassis.

No. Much earlier. I meant it was brand new when was modified this way.

It has a УЗАМ 412 motor installed. Front of the car was made longer because the УЗАМ 412 motor is longer.
It was a prototype called VAZ-2121М.

They were based on pre-production Niva prototypes which had missed them too.
