Sorry, mixed up this puzzle with another one! LOCKED for 'sichel'.
It is a Büssing 4500 T?, bodywork by Karosseriewerke Eislingen. Please find the only missing character... And, sorry please, for my unwariness from the beginning...

You should move the puzzle to expert level  as sichel can't reply to rookie puzzles anymore.

@fromwien: So there seems to be no source, neither online nor in writing. So I have to march through the alphabet. I'll start with TC.

Back to the beginning: I found the note. It is a 4500 TM from 1955. His last job seems to have been racing transporter
