This is the Molto Casta, a customized 1954 Hudson Hornet Hollywood. It was built for Harold Du Charme of Grosse Point, Michigan. the top is chopped, the body channelled (?) and the hood replaced by a 1948 Hudson hood with added scoops. Headlights were hooded, bumpers recontoured, an eggcrate grille constructed.
The trunk was sectioned to further slim the car's profile, and the continental spare tire was faired in. Rear fenders were extended, and taillights replaced by '52-'54 Lincoln units.
the engine was the Twin-H Power inline 6 cylinder with 308 cid. Wire wheels were sourced, door opening solenoids fitted, and a large 30 gallon fuel tank added.
Originally finished in dark metallic green, it was later changed to silver with a black roof, and the owner's family crest painted on the doors.
