Very well spotted, as that is the same car.  Now I just need a name for it! :-\

As I now have far too many puzzles resting in the Black Hole, and this one hasn't been touched for more than one year, I will now award two points to anyone that can correctly identify this car from now until the end of February 2012 (it's a leap year, so you get a whole extra day to gain two points).  ;)

This is not the only 2CV-based car made by this firm.

Today marks the tenth anniversary of my first discovering and doing Auto Puzzles, so as a special anniversary 'celebration,' from today for the next ten days only (until 18 December 2018), I will give double Black Hole points (i.e. four in total) to anyone that can finally name this car that has been sat here now for almost ten years. Good luck, and oh, I can't be found on-line!

I have additional photos and information about this car:

1. Joćo's photo and the one at the bottom of this post were taken at the 2015 Welland Steam & Country Rally;

2. The car is owned by Ms. Celia Walton, who drives the car all over Europe (notice the beating sustained between 2015 and 2018); and

3. According to Ms. Walton, the car was "built by a mechanic who’d acquired a damaged deux chevaux to cannibalise for spare parts, but realising that the front of the car and its mechanicals were actually in pretty good nick, he decided to fashion a mono wheel rear end."

I had an opportunity to discuss this car with Ms. Walton recently. (She's the current owner.) While Ms. Walton would not divulge the name of the mechanic who built it (because he's an old friend of hers), she did explain that he is a body-worker and wrought iron expert and that he built the car for his own enjoyment.  He grew bored with the car at some point and put it away. Ms. Walton purchased the car from her friend approximately 20 years ago and has put it to frequent use ever since. Her only complaint in all this time has been the lack of luggage space.

Unfortunately, still no solution to the puzzle!

Golly, contacting the owner seems a little extreme! I can understand her reluctance to divulge the name of this 2CV's creator (who planned to make more of these if there was any interest, as well as another Citroen model).

So, the mystery continues...

Not really extreme, as locating and making contact with past and present owners, builders and restorers of old cars has been a key component of my 'full-time hobby' for decades. ;)

OK. Here in the UK (and EU), strict data protection legislation prevents any unsolicited direct contact with unknown third-party individuals, which as part of my profession sourcing cars and content for leading motoring and Concours events globally can be something of a frustration, but..!

We have similar laws here, however, all of these (USA/UK/EU) are consumer protection laws that don't apply to unsolicited communications made for personal, journalistic, and a host of other purposes.
