I have actually found a source which states that Baribbi (a coachbuilder) had originally produced the Tucano on the Iveco chassis, but that production was taken over by Iveco in the early 1990s.

my source is a polish magazine which was visiting Baribbi factory
it was in 1991
as You can see on unmelted photo there is a plate on the car: BARIBBI
