Yes, the pictures are from a 1963 brochure. There is another point going to France.
The cab design of the Austin / Morris FG had some positive aspects: Easy entry due to low-lying steps, the doors took up almost as little space as sliding doors when opened. The so-called "street view" windows allowed a view directly in front of the vehicle: easier manoeuvring, smaller "blind spot".
But unfortunately the cabin was quite narrow inside, the seats therefore quite narrow and it heated up quickly.
All good things are never together...
