Close enough!  my source said it's 1903 and the oldest known Harley.

From what I've read of Harley history, it appears that is their first effort with a conventional bicycle frame which proved to be so underpowered that it couldn't go up hills.  So they scrapped it and built another with a bigger engine, the prototype which is the subject of the puzzle.
