I'm out of touch with modern racing. When did Formula Ford use Honda engines?
-
2009 the Honda L15A7-engine was the second allowed choice to be used alongside the Ford-Kent-engine in SCCA National Formula F-championship.
2012 Tim Kautz won the championship the first time Honda-powered in an Piper DF3D-chassis
The attached picture shows the Piper history, not to be mixed up with Brian Sherwood's Piper Cars Company

Thank you. I think the Honda is USA only. never heard of it in the UK.
-
Think the same, as it is a national SCCA-formula. For European championships I only know about the Kent-1600-engine and later the Zetec-1800-engine in FF-regulations
