I don't know whether it had an official name.

For one point, please respond and identify this car by naming its builder.

Hello again. The puzzle asks for the cars builder.
I saw this puzzle earlier this week, and today I got a car magazine with a reprint of an article from 1922 refering to Sig Haugdahl and his Speed record car. I recognized the puzzle and posted a reply.
The name Wisconsin is mentioned, maybe name of the car or the engine?
Also referred is a list over speed records, Haugdahls car competing aganst Milton in Dusenberg and De Palma in Packard. Also a picture of Haugdahl in the car. No other drivers are mentioned. Maybe the builder did other record attempts later, and also hired others to drive the car?
This all I have for now.

The puzzle car is a bit younger than Haugdahl's car and apart from the bodywork it differs in details as far as I can see, e.g. the rear springs.

For the sake of order: Here are the pictures from the reprinted article in 1922. I can send you the complete article if you want. It is in norwegian.

Oh boy, this is confusing!

Facts are:
1) The puzzle car already existed in 1922, see olavr's picture from a 1922 Norwegian magazine.
2) The Norwegian magazine claims the car to be Haugdahl's Wisconsin Special record car which we know looked different: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2007-35/name-this-speedy-car-ltltsolved-1922-wisconsin-speed-specialgtgt/msg521777/#msg521777
3) The puzzle picture appeared some years later in several magazines and came with the name of a different driver.
4) The puzzle picture is too similar to olavr's picture to have been made some years afterwards, so it has to be a photomontage showing a new driver in an old car.

My conclusions:
The car might have been the Wisconsin Special at an earlier stage of development or an earlier attempt by Haugdahl to build a record car. Our mystery driver fooled the press by launching the modified picture and claiming to be the car's builder.

So I'll award one point to olavr for pointing out the connection to Sig Haugdahl, but I'll keep the puzzle open to find our mystery driver.
