Eagle-Macomber, 1914-18
The Macomber Rotary Engine Company in Los Angeles created an air-cooled axial seven-cylinder engine with a single rotating cylinder block. This was the first Rotary engine, where the engine-block with all its seven cylinders was rotating. Later Macomber developed a five-cylinder version
