Who was the manufacturer of the base? Who was the coachbuilder? What was the name of this model? When was this bus built?

Yes, it is a Bedford VAL14 with Duple Vega Major bodywork. But it's a bit younger. Locked for you.

Manufacture of the VAL14 halted in 1966, so the answer has to be 1966 plus maybe a few months.
