Not him but you are on the right track.
This man built few cars (only 5) but before this article, only 1 was known...not very known but here at autopuzzles it is.

John found this article (and an incredible amount of other documents!) and suggested me to post it as a puzzle.
I would never thought there were 5 cars and looking to Ben's Speedster I'd bet they were all futuristic ones!
