Not a Cadillac, but it is an Italian carrosserie's work, based on an American car.

If it isn't a Buick crest, maybe it's a Ghia badge...and the car is based on a Mustang platform?

Hmm, I was thinking on the Oldsmobile Thor, but you said it not a Ghia car.

No.

FWIW, the Thor (to my eyes, anyway) is instantly recognizable as a Toronado. However, pictures of the car are virtually impossible to find.

"Based on a Plymouth"...meaning it isn't a Plymouth?

It has a two-word name, and was presented by an Italian company as a "<Company> <Model Name>". The name of the Italian company in the aforementioned title is not the name of the company that designed it.  It has a Plymouth powertrain and other bits.

It's Silver RAY...last car Nardi ever built.  But Erbas was close enough for my tastes...
