The car was built by Murrill Motors Co., Sacramento CA in the late 1970s/early 1980s.
It was a working prototype and the type designation 3XE stood for Electrical, Economical, Ecological.
One 6hp GE dc motor drove the rear wheels to a top speed of 50mph (80kph). Range was 90 miles (144km).

I presume this was the only car completed and I haven't seen any further photos of it.

80 kph with a 6 HP engine sounds too optimistic to me...

My source states that they were hoping to achieve 65 mph (105 kph)!
Curb weight was 1,100 lbs (500 kg)
Length 108 in (274 cm), height 48 in (122cm)
The maximum power was not stated.
