Barcelona 2010
« on: April 26, 2010, 12:38:22 AM »
Not a track known for passing.  At least the teams haven't run mucho test miles on the track this year.  The big updates will be on all the cars.  The Mercedes will even have a longer wheelbase.  If MS doesn't step it up now I predict he will walk away by season's end.  Alonso is due to put a complete race together and the crowd will be rooting for him.

Unless, of course, they remember the sprinklers.

Glad to see my sprinklers idea is beginning to take root in the minds of the fans!    ;D

How can Mercedes have a longer wheelbase?  I thought once the "tub" was homologated at the start of the season that any changes to it were strictly verboten.  That's why other teams can't start using Ferrari style "turbo" wheels mid season and can't fully replicate the McLaren F Duct until next year?

Anyhoo, I predict a return to the stunningly boring standards set by Bahrain. Perhaps a slight juggling of who is fast and who is not, but overall, I am predicting a Barcelona Borefest for the fans.

Hope I'm wrong.
