I think it's fair to say that Jim Hume, who built most of the Target 550 Streamliner is a perfectionist. And he's carrying that to the very last part. The liner's been in Marlo Treit's hangar for quite a while now, but the tail section returned to Hume's shop so he could drill out all the rivets holding the skin to the support rails. Then he built up the rails so that when the rivets are re-done, they won't cause the skin to dimple and create an uneven surface. I'm glad it's him and not me.
