Seems like somebody would have to change their rules package pretty extensively to get Rolex GT, DTM, and Super GT into the same performance/price/technology ballpark. The Rolex cars are relatively simple tube-frames running stock block engines and stock-appearing bodywork. DTM also runs tubers, but with quite a bit more unobtanium and all manner of aero flips, flaps, and flugels. IIRC, the Super GT cars start with a production tub and go nuts from there. (although the last time I paid attention, it was still called JGTC.) I'm not sure if they're looking to dumb down DTM and Super GT, getting costs down and car counts up, or maybe they were just looking to add DTM as a support race at Daytona. Could be interesting either way.
