Domenicali to take over from Todt at FerrariHot on the heels of Honda revealing Ross Brawn is to take the team principal position, Ferrari has announced restructuring to its technical and management departments. Brawn, formerly the Scuderia's technical director, was thought likely to return but evidently that's not going to happen and Ferrari has outlined shuffling of its senior members. From January 1st 2008 Stefano Domenicali, previously sporting director, will take the role of Director of the Gestione Sportiva, Ferrari's motorsport division. The position is currently held by Jean Todt, who recently said he had no intention of stepping down from Ferrari -- speculation suggests that he may revert to the role of CEO. Technical director Mario Almondo will switch to Operations Manager and his current place will be taken by chassis chief Aldo Costa. Gilles Simon will continue as the team's engine director. Further details of the organization are expected to be revealed before the end of the year.
