Some of us over at Carnuts.us are planning to go to Sebring in March 07 (14-17th are the official race dates) and we would like to cordially invite any and all Autopuzzlers to join us. 7 Carnutians recently had a GTG at Elkhart Lake (Champ Car race) and despite the cold and rain, all had a terrific time. This is an opportunity to meet and put a face and a voice to that person you talk to almost everyday via the net!
Plans are still very much in the beginning stages, but I think we'll need to act quickly depending on what accomodations we'll be looking for.......tents at the track, sleeping on the beach (
) or the usual Notell motel...........all are up for discussion.
Sebring is the first ALMS race of the year, and we're gonna see if the Audi's can start off another winning season like they did last year (8 for 8!). For 07 they look to have considerably more and better competition, in the diesel racecar from Peugeot plus the improving AER cars. Acura will have their P2 car there to go after the Porsches, as well as the Corvettes, Astons, Ferraris and gobs of Porsches. There's something for everyone to watch!
