This laughter is extinguished forever on 13.03.2022. Vic Elford was one of my biggest idols in the late 60s, especially on Porsche. (Yesterday I saw and heard an early 911 with with the small bumpers and trims on it, a visual and acoustic delight!) Vic was an absolute universal genius, winner of the Rallye Monte Carlo, winner of 24h of daytona, nine times participant of 24h Le Mans, 4th in Rouen on Cooper-BRM F1 (and in 1979 Manager of the ATS F1-Team), winner of Targa Florio and three times winner at ADAC 1000 km at Nürburgring-Nordschleife (my favourite track). The impacts are getting closer...
