First class website.  Great streams of the races right off the site.  Fantastic race courses.  Check it out.  Race fans should find plenty to like here.  I'm streaming the Abu Dhabi race onto the big screen as I type.  Good stuff.

The 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship season is the debut of the FIA GT1 World Championship, a replacement for the FIA GT Championship which was held from 1997 to 2009. It is the first sports car racing series approved by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) as a World Championship since the demise of the World Sportscar Championship in 1992.

Developed by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO), the FIA GT1 World Championship will hold ten events in ten countries on four continents. Six manufacturers have entered the series, the maximum allowed by the series regulations. Twelve teams will represent the marques of Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Nissan. A championship title will be awarded to the highest scoring drivers as well as the highest scoring team.

I thought it was a good race and with 7 ex F1 pilotes and classic marques I felt connected to the action.  Has the makings of a quality series.

Yep.  I will check out all of these races what with the convenience of the live stream.

This has the makings of a great series. Can't wait to see them at a real road course. As cool as it's been seeing the Yellow Corvettes racing against each other for the last few years, it's awesome seeing a full field of GT-1 machines. It'd be even better hearing them in person. Is it too early to start bitching about the lack of a North American round or two?
I make poor decisions, but I have a good time.

I was just showing this series to Boxer.

aah.  we finally get some american rumble iron with on-demand capability, you think I'd be satisfied.  But I can totally see this series at Barber as it would be the closest American venue to the euro schedule.  Course, I can also see them running at Laguna for my own selfish reasons.  :)
