The same station that broadcast the bulletin also conducted a poll regarding viewers' reaction to the possibility of F1 not returning to the city. 48% said they'd never miss it, and 18% said they didn't care one way or the other...Indianapolis baffles me...the 500 is very popular, the Brickyard 400 is almost god-like, and the Colts are royalty, but F1 gets the cold shoulder. It just doesn't make sense...if Alonso and Hamilton were driving for Roger Penske, did the double on Memorial Day and sat in the pressbox at Lucas Stadium, the mayor would have to give them both keys to the city.
Go figure...
