SpeedTV is a premium channel for me, unfortunately. Maybe I should call and threaten to cancel, and see if they'll throw it in for free. :)

I set my autotune on DirecTV last night. I may have to order a Pizza for dinner..

The Daylight Savings time change took this race right out of prime time.  It used to start at 9:30, with pre-race at 9:00.  It was a great time for a saturday night season kickoff  party.

On the west coast this race is now right in prime time.

Its a premium channel for me too. But getting the premium channels also makes it possible to get the DVR from the cable company. It actually turns out to be well worth the extra money.

If you want to come watch it here at Huckleberry Ridge sheep shearing and goat roping ranch, you are more than welcome to.   ;)

Anyone know if there are any plans to launch Speed as an over-the-air channel?

Nope. I don't know the first thing about F1 racing, and I have no real way to watch the races anyway.

Sheep & goat poking ranch?

Well, we try not to interfere with our guest's activities while they are here. Whatever floats your boat, but be sure to use protection. We don't want our animals harmed in any way!    :lmao:

Typical. Muthajuggs has no speed.

I suck at fantasy stuff.

Come to think about it, I'm none too good at the reality stuff either.

Woe is I.

Scuderia Patrizio is a GREAT name!    ;D

Although I think the name I chose for my team manager is pretty much up there, too!    :P

I have aspirations of  running my own F1 team one day....  I figure I could convinvce Jean Todt to sell me last year's cars and I'd happily direct my drivers to block, harass, and eventually take off....   any car owned, operated, or in any way affiliated with Ron Dennis.    :P

MG, which team is yours?

!!!A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

The flying burrow owls would like to remind their competitors that due to continuing unrest in Malaysia, The F1 qualifying normally scheduled for this weekend has been rescheduled for next Tuesday.

So no point checking/altering your roster until then.

Just sit tight, have a good weekend, and check back in middle of next week.

Don't believe reports indicating that the race will proceed as scheduled. That's propaganda from the junta that recently took over the state news outlet.

If you like, why not pass the next few days discussing those diamonds in the rough; those drivers/engines/chassis that might have a breakout race this coming Wednesday, and score some much needed points for a team on a budget. Go ahead, discuss.

They are both sitting on Lewis Hamilton and are ready to write me off befrre the third race.

One start line accident or blown motor in qualifying boys and you shall both find yourself in different positions.

I've noticed the only difference between the Flying Burrow Owls and some of the top teams is that they have Lewis Hamilton as their "A" guy whereas I took a flyer on Kovalainen.  Ooops.  And now I don't have enough money to afford any changes.  :-\

That is, unless Anthony Davidson / Super Aguri pulls a podium finish or two out of their hats.

I won't hold my breath.  ;)
