Just read about it. A terrible accident and really bad news. Just proves that motorsport is still dangerous and those people behind the wheel have a bit more steel in them that it may seem.

Sad news indeed, he was a fantastic driver who achieved a lot without having unlimited financial backing.
My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Indycars are fast and spectacular but perhaps there are some safety aspects that should be addressed for the future of oval racing.
Too many cars on a track suitable for NASCAR but too dangerous for a large number of Indycars?
