Damn! GTE just beat me to it, as I've just found the photo below from the MHK-KL as the Meisterschule Kaiserslautern is known today. The photograph also shows a bespoke MHK-KL VW Typ 1 and Porsche-based special, in addition to the puzzle Fiat 1100.

It's correct...and I think it is correct to give a point both to GTE and to Djetset who got the key to find the correct answer.

Once I saw Djetset's question and your answer I figured it must be the Meisterschule in Kaiserslautern but didn't post that as I thought it should be Djetset's puzzle to solve.

Yes, I think it was probably bad timing on my part. For whatever it's worth, I had tried to post my response several days ago, but was blocked by the 'less than 30 seconds' function (even though it had been hours since my last post) and then forgot all about it. After seeing new activity in the thread and realizing my response had never been posted, I probably should have just let it go. Regardless, I'm happy to see a point go to Djetset.
