The missing pilot 1, I guess is Baron Manuel de Teffé von Hoonholtz (BR)? Place 7 At Circuito da Gávea, Rio de Janeiro 1936? car 4 driving RLSS Alfa Romeo (Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 2.3 S-8)?
The car 12 is Protótipo Torke-Maserati sometime driven by Fangio, sometime owned by (pilot 10) Henrique Casini, and raced at (place 3) Autódromo Virgilio Távora Fortaleza Ceara Brazil at the inaugural race in 1969

I think car #4 is an RLSS Alfa Romeo? I know I've seen this photo in a book, just have to remember where!

You're absolutely right! And its connection?

That I don't know. I'm not familiar with either the Places or the Pilots. If I can find that RLSS photo again, it may have some information that could give me a clue.

I found the book with the picture of the Alfa, but it is a bit confusing, as it mentions RLSS, but later says that it is actually an RM Sport model. No mention of owner or place. I can see it has a number 9 attached to the windscreen post, and the car looks spotless and the occupants are well dressed. Is the car in an early concours event? if it was, I'd connect it to Place #3, just because it looks like a nice place to hold a concours.

In this case, it's just the automobile and the pilot. It's indeed a Concours d'Elegance and a RLSS.

Correct pilot and machine! But no points for that.

Correct car and place. Wrong pilot.
