So, is Extra d (D) the missing link, a Siata panel van?
Yes, but to call this connection solved I need the model of the Siata van.

OK, I think I've got the missing Extra link now for the Dutton Sierra. It is of course Extra v, which is the USA-market 1970 special edition Renault 10 Sierra, which obviously shares it name with the Dutton kit car. Phew, that's a relief as I really do now need to do some work!
Yes, that is right. You can do your work now.  :)

I'll try one that seems easy to me (as a 'Murican), the 'Indy Trio':

Rust T - Harroun Model A-1 (by Ray Harroun, winner of the first Indy 500)
Architecture 1 - Soldiers and Sailors Monument (in Indianapolis, Indiana)
Extra C - Jim Robbins Special (as driven by Cal Niday in the 1954 Indy 500)

The Siata van model is a 144 F, based on Fiat 1400 mechanicals.

You are right that it seems easy, too easy indeed. All you say is right, it's just that I need the Extra c for another combination. So keep on searching. Rust T and Architecture 1 locked for you.

Well, I take the 144 as a typo, as it is a 114 F. Another one solved.

Time to attempt another one that I think I've worked out. So..

English private prep schools and student car building projects are the connections here, as follows;

Rust AG: The Mini-based Silcoates Ascender 3-wheeler, made by students at Silcoates School (as below), under the tuition of Silcoates lecturer Les Brown (an authority on British specials, with a Specials book to his name, plus his excellent Rochdale cars book)
Arch 17: This one took some finding as it looked like a typical Yorkshire school, but hundreds to choose from! I've finally narrowed it down to Silcoates School in Wakefield, where Les Brown worked.
Extra m: This is the Abbey Cat, another prep school student car build project, created at the respected Whitley Academy in Coventry for the old 'BP Build A Car' competition for educational institutions.

Returning to Austria (digitally as its borders are closed), here's a Steyr connection;

Rust L: A Steyr Type 50/55 Kubelwagen
Arch 36: St. Michael's catholic church (Michaelerkirche) in Steyr
Extra o (O): The unique Austrian Steyr-Puch 'Puch S' Spider prototype
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Yes, just find the right model number of the Steyr Kübelwagen and this one is solved. L-36-o is locked for you.

Is Steyr 250 the name you are looking for for the kubelwagen? (and sorry, I should have included it in my earlier reply).

A Sigma connection, as follows:

Rust H: A Mitsubishi (Colt) Sigma Wagon/Estate/Break, etc.
Arch 23: A Sigma supermarket in Spain
Extra AH: An early 1920s Sigma Type V from France

I'm thinking Extra AG could be the final piece, as it resembles a number of cars produced in Indianapolis in the mid-1920s. If AG is the correct 'extra' component, is it a Marmon?

Sigma is an Italian supermarket chain, otherwise correct.

No, Extra ag has nothing to do with Indy 500.

An Acer connection;

Rust AJ: An MC Acer, a mid-1980s Turner-inspired British kit car, often powered by a Fiat-Lancia Twin Cam engine
Arch 35: Acer Inc.'s head office in New Taipei City, Taiwan
Extra ad: A Luxgen S3-based 'Acer' self-driving prototype
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

No, Extra ag has nothing to do with Indy 500.
I'm going to have to ask questions on this one, so feel free to unlock it whenever you deem appropriate.

Let's give this a try:

Rust T - Harroun Model A-1 (by Ray Harroun, winner of the first Indy 500)
Architecture 1 - Soldiers and Sailors Monument (in Indianapolis, Indiana)
Extra B - As-yet unidentified Indy 500 racer (front-wheel-drive car circa 1928?)

I might be clutching at straws with this one with a Stearns thread, but worth a try;

Rust Y: Stearns-Knight 60-Series Touring, c.1923
Arch 29: The Alderman Building in Idaho, the site of the former Alderman Brothers Stearns-Knight agent
Extra t: The Stearns Steam Model A Runabout, c.1903

I'll accept that, although the Stearns-Knight agent was called Adelmann, not Alderman.
