A Chris Field design proposal?

Sketching style is very much like Oliver Winterbottom's.
Maybe for the Jaguar XJ27 (XJS)

Not by Chris Field or Malcolm Sayer and it's not a Vauxhall, because it is exactly what Allemano says: Oliver Winterbottom's proposal for the eventual Jaguar XJS.
The rendering wasn't drawn by Winterbottom though, so it's locked for Allemano to see if he can say who drew this picture (there was a connection to Oliver Winterbottom).

So it's Winterbottom's design, but sketched by someone else? A guy from his design staff? Or was it made independently for a later publication?

Have to look at home in my books. Won't be able to reply very soon.

Yes, it was sketched by someone else, maybe because Winterbottom only produced antechnical drawing, I don't know.
It's more correct to say he was connected via this project rather than directly to Oliver Winterbottom.
Maybe that'll tell you where to look!

OK.  I'll give you a point for getting the car and designer then I'll award another point to whoever identifies the artist responsible for the rendering.
So it's open to all now.

Thank you!

And you would get another point if you can identify the artist too!

Yes, that's right.
Doug Thorpe was Head of Design at Jaguar when the XJS was developed in the 1970s.
Well done.
